About the role
At Joydo we believe children learn best when they are happy, curious and free to explore. We are building a studio where children develop confidence, creativity, communication and social skills through play and hands-on activity — not through worksheets.
Your job is to help children learn, play and grow in a safe and happy environment. In practice that means:
- Running activities children actually want to join — storytelling, art, craft, educational games, role play.
- Helping children build confidence, communication, creativity and social skills.
- Encouraging them to explore, ask questions and say what they think.
- Organising simple group games and age-appropriate movement activities.
- Preparing activities and materials, with guidance from Joydo’s founder.
- Noticing how each child is getting on, and telling parents honestly.
- Making sure every child feels welcome and included.
Who we are looking for
You might be the right person if you:
- Genuinely enjoy spending time with children.
- Are patient, caring, creative and energetic.
- Can communicate comfortably in Hindi and basic English.
- Enjoy storytelling, games, art or other creative work.
- Are willing to learn and try new ways of teaching.
Experience in a preschool, kindergarten or children’s activity centre helps, but is not required. Graduation, NTT, Montessori or Early Childhood Education training is an advantage.
We care more about whether you can connect with children than about your certificates.
Why join Joydo
We are a new venture, so you would be part of this from the start rather than joining something already finished.
You would work directly with the founder, put forward your own ideas, and help shape what the activities actually are. If you like teaching but want to do it more creatively than a classroom allows, that is the job.
Our commitment to child safety
Every child deserves a safe and respectful environment, and we treat that as a condition of the job rather than a policy document.
Whoever we appoint must complete identity and background checks, including police verification, and take part in regular child-safety training.
How to apply
Send your CV and a short note about why you enjoy working with children.
- WhatsApp: +91 98106 37503
- Email: joydo.officials@gmail.com
If we think you might be a fit, we will invite you in for a conversation and ask you to run a short activity with us — so you can see the space, and we can see you with children.
Little steps. Big discoveries. Endless joy.
If that sounds like the kind of place you would like to work, we would like to hear from you.
